September 9 Workshop: Irresist-A-Bowls II 6 hour class, maximum 20 students Let your creativity loose on the Double Square Bowl and the Sunflower Bowl. Bring fabrics you love and create two fun and artsy bowls to take home and show off. These can be classy or funky gifts for your friends, art for your house, or vessels to hold things. Linda will show you tips and tricks to make the process easy as pie - no, cookies! Once you've started you won't want to quit! Book required, templates will be available. September 10 Workshop: Gingerbread House 6 hour class, maximum 20 students Lace on the windows, bells on the roof, trim on the chimney... get ready for Christmas (or any other season you want to make it for!) with this fun and easy gingerbread house. It can look like it is made of gingerbread, stone, wood or fantasies. Bring a few friends, some glitz, and the ideas will just keep coming. Best of all, no sugar or weight gain involved. The house and base also fold flat for easy storage or transportation. Book required, templates will be available. September 2010 Challenge: Hats Use any technique or combination of techniques that inspire you -- knitting, crocheting, sewing, felting, basketry, braiding or any imaginative technique, as long as it incorporates fiber of some sort. There are no size limitations and the design does not have to be functional. First Prize: $30 cash. Second Prize: $20 cash. Winners will be determined by popular vote. Questions?
